How to use

1.The right method accompanied with the moderate intensity

 a) To comb repeatedly with care for every part of scalp, using the tooth of combs

 b) The moderate intensity: The intensity should be moderate: the force should not be too light or too heavy. If the strength is too light, it will not be able to massage. If it is too heavy, it will scratch the scalp. With medium strength, it is advisable to produce a slight heat sensation on the scalp. If it is dry hair, it can be used when combing; if it is oily hair, use light force, otherwise it will stimulate the sebaceous glands to increase secretion.

c) Starting from root to tail: starting from the top of the head to the sides, from hairline to neck. Repeat for several times and most importantly,  enjoy the pleasure from the comfortable scalp massge

Repeating the instructions above can effectively prevent hair loss and make hair darker. The Empress Dowager Cixi had her hair comb with extra care every day. When she was seventy years old, she was still full of healthy, glowy black hair. It has been recorded that Su Dongpo once suffered from hair loss. Later, after being instructed by a famous doctor, he insisted on combing his hair several times a day, and resulted with the hair gain shortly.

2. The suitable time and rhythm

(1)Time: It is best to have two combing session during the day: 5 minutes in the morning and evening respectively, and of course, you are always welcome to comb more often than that. Just note that, it is advised not to comb after meals as this will affect our digestions. In addition, please do not comb when hair is still wet because the water vapor will make the protein structure of hair be loosen; thus hair will be more fragile. If it is combed vigorously, it will cause damage to hair and hair follicle

(2)The rhythm of combing: The rhythm of combing is the best not to be rushing. It should be from slow to fas and enforcing light force and intensify gradually, which can better press and stimulate the acupoint. You can also combine finger massage when combing your hair. Spread our fingers, use your  fingertips to massage the scalp. Start from the frontal line and make a ring-shaped press to the back of the head. Then massage from the sides to the top of the Baihui. Repeat about ten times and apply even force.

(3)Focus on several key parts

(a) hairline. Comb more at the front of the forehead (the main acupoints on the stomach) can protect the gastrointestinal function.

(b) The top of the Baihui point. It is an important acupuncture point of the body, and many meridians meet here. Every day, combing the top area of the massage head one or two hundred, not only can clear the whole body of yang, tonic, blood pressure, brain, but also treat insomnia, forgetfulness and other symptoms.

c) Both sides of the head: Chinese doctore believes that the two sides of the head are the follow-up parts of the three Jiaojing and the gallbladder. Regular combing and massage can dredge the meridians, wide breasts, and relieve chest tightness and flatulence.

(d) The back of the head. Frequently combing the back of the brain can strengthen the function of kidneys, blood circulation, and thus help the mind to be clear and relax the shoulder and neck.

Precautions:

Combing hair should be conducted on daily basis yet with details to be watched out for:

1, avoid combing all the way to the end

Combing all the way from the root to bottom will not only cause the hair to knot, but also cause hair loss. The correct hair brushing should be holding a fragment of hair first, comb the scattered hair tips, then comb the hair to the end of the hair, and finally comb the hair from the hair root to the tail.

2, avoid combing hair too fast

If combing the hair too fast, especially when combing with a fine tooth, the hair will be pulled and hurt. If it happens for  a long time, it may cause breakage.

3, Please clean the comb

Many scalp diseases are transmitted by combs. Grease, dust and other dirt remain on the comb. After a long time, it will breed germs and infect the human body by contact with the scalp. Therefore, the handmade wooden comb should be wiped once a week with a wet towel.

4. Combing the scalp is KEY

Combing the hair without actually combing the comb cannot scrap out all the dirt on the hair, and it does not stimulate the blood circulation of the scalp. Correct hair brushing should divide the hair into several parts, such as the top of the head, the forehead, the sides, and then gently comb the scalp from the inside and outside. This is beneficial to transfer the oil secreted by the scalp to the surface of the hair to form a natural moisturizing layer to prevent the hair from drying and splitting. The comb gently strokes across the scalp to stimulate the nerve endings of the scalp, relaxing, relieving fatigue and promoting sleep.

5, DO NOT COMB WHEN HAIR is WET

It is recommended to comb the hair before washing the hair, wash it with a hairdryer or wait until it is naturally dry and then comb.

Benefits

1.Prevent hair loss and enhance the functionality of liver and kidney

Regular combing can clear the blood vessels, improve blood circulation in the head and prevent hair loss.

2. Prevent colds and energize our bodies

3. Remove tiredness and improve sleeping quality

Traditional Chinese medical research believes that the internal and external organs, the internal organs of the organs, the coordination of blood and blood, and the transmission, rely on the body's twelve meridians, Qijing eight veins and other meridians to conduct. The meridians are all over the body, and the blood and blood also reach the whole body, so as to nourish the tissues and organs, resist the evil spirits, and defend the body. These meridians are jointed at the top of our heads , and the "Baihui acupoint" at the top of the head is named after it. Hence it is crucial to comb hair with the right method.

4. Massaging the acupoints

We have approximately 50 acupoints and they all share the common joint at our heads. Therefore, combing our hair actually massages these acupoints, strengthening blood circulation and stimulating the connections amongst the acupoints, boosting our health.
